The very potent SSB SSB Tar Heels defeated the hapless Chainsaw Proctologists
by a score of 5 to 2 at the ballpark.
In the bottom of the 5th inning SSB went on top for good scoring a single run.
Corey Patterson doubled. After another out, Ramon Hernandez stepped in and
he hit a sacrifice fly scoring the run. Oliver Perez(10-7) got relief help
from Randy Choate who was excellent in relief and gained credit for his 1st
save.
John Thomson(7-13) absorbed the loss. SSB now has a record of 79-47. Still
in a bad slump, with this loss, Chainsaw is 2-8 lately and 48-78 on the year.
